Vegetable khichdi for 8 month plus babies and kids.
VEGETABLE KHICHDI.
COOKING TIME: 15 MINUTES
PREPARATION TIME : 5 MINUTES
TOTAL TIME : 20 MINUTES.
INGREDIENTS :
Rice 2 tablespoon
Moong dal 2 tablespoon
Cumin seeds 1 teaspoon
Asafoetida
Turmeric powder
Mixed vegetables
Olive oil 1 tablespoon
Water 1 cup
Heat a pressure cooker with ghee or oil. Add cumin seeds. Add onions ,Once onions becomes transparent , add tomatoes. Fry tomatoes until the raw smell of tomatoes leaves and become mushy. Then add mixed vegetables,stir a while.Then add soaked rice & moong dal and mix well. Add required water and bring it to a boil.Cook for 3 whistle on medium flame .Allow the cooker to cool down and open it.with a potato masher mash the khichdi and serve warm to your baby.
